Twelve years ago, we sent Michael Janus to Jackson to serve us in the House of Representatives. During his three terms in office, he’s earned a reputation for hard work, common sense, and strong conservative values.
Just look at what he’s accomplished since Hurricane Katrina. He co-authored insurance reform bills designed to make getting insurance more affordable for Gulf Coast residents. Janus co-authored the bill that saved thousands of jobs by allowing the gaming industry to move 800 feet in-shore. And, he’s reached out to his constituents on a personal level. Helping families get their Katrina Grants. Helping people work their way through the maze of FEMA regulations. Using every means possible to help people pull themselves back up on their feet.
As a senior member of the House Republican Conference, Michael Janus’ relationships with lawmakers from all over the state help us get our voice heard in Jackson.
As we continue to rebuild, we need to keep his seniority in the legislature working for us.
On August 7th, let’s go to the polls and keep Michael Janus working for us.
“We’ve done so much since the storm. But, there is so much more to do. I hope you’ll decide on election day to send me back to the House of Representatives. If you do, I’ll be the senior Republican member from Harrison County. And, I promise to put the power of that seniority to work for you.”
“To your family, from my family, we wish you the very best in the trying times ahead.
If I can ever be of service to you, please do not hesitate to call on me.”
God Bless You,
Representative, District 117
